- Please confirm your full employment and education history. This information must date back to your most recent, full-time education i.e. College/University. Please start with your most recent employment and/or education and ensure that you complete all of the fields below before submitting.
- We are required to obtain academic/employment references for each applicant, in line with our safeguarding requirements. So we can achieve this, we will require contact details to approach suitable referees from your current or most recent settings.
- If there are any gaps in employment/studies of 3 months or more within the last 10 years, we will require a character reference to cover this. Please note your character referee must have known you for a minimum of 3 years and must have been known to you during the period(s) of your unemployment. Please note we will only accept professional/work-related contact details for safeguarding reasons.

All references must:- Cover a minimum of the most recent 24 months/2 years in your timeline
- Your referees should be your current and/or most recent employers and must be someone who knows you in a professional or training/education context
- They must be able to provide full, detailed references in line with our compliance specifications
- Teaching Staff will require a minimum of 2 full references that comment on suitability to work with children
- Learning Support and other school staff will require a minimum of 2 full references, with 1 reference that can comment on suitability to work with children
We will primarily attempt to contact your referees via email, resorting to phone calls if required. Any references not obtained in line with this process will cause a delay in your registration and offer of employment.
